Open Call for a new edition of CLARIAH-GAL
The CiTIUS is once again collaborating in the organization of this event, which seeks to promote research in Digital Humanities and language technologies and will reach its 3rd Edition in 2026. The call for poster submissions will remain open throughout the month, with a deadline for abstract submissions until April 17.
Next 29 May 2026, the Faculty of Philology of the University of Santiago de Compostela will host a new edition of Xeira CLARIAH-GAL, now in its third call, consolidating itself as a point of reference in the field of Digital Humanities in Galicia. The event is organised by the Instituto da Lingua Galega (ILG) and, for the third consecutive year, features the participation of the Centro Singular de Investigación en Tecnoloxías Intelixentes (CiTIUS), thus strengthening collaboration between linguistics, technology and advanced research. The event is conceived as a dynamic meeting space in which the European infrastructures CLARIN and DARIAH will be presented, while innovative projects will be showcased and connections fostered between Galician research groups working at the intersection of Digital Humanities and language technologies applied to the Social Sciences and Humanities.
