“GaiásTech”: putting talent at the service of ideas

Senén Barro, scientific director of CiTIUS, attended today as a guest speaker at the official presentation of the “GaiásTech” center, an initiative promoted by the Xunta de Galicia through the Axencia Galega de Modernización Tecnolóxica (AMTEGA).

In pursuit of a people-centered digital transformation

The GaiásTech center, which began its activity today at the Cidade da Cultura de Galicia, will serve as a space for demonstration and experimentation in advanced technologies, as well as a hub for knowledge focused on the digital transformation of companies, public administrations, and Galician society.

The center will be available to more than 3,800 technology companies in Galicia and to over 24,000 professionals in the ICT sector in our region. It will also play a role in fostering technological vocations and in promoting and retaining digital talent in Galicia.

GaiásTech will be a central setting for the implementation of the Galicia Digital Strategy 2030, especially its cross-cutting pillar, which aims to promote technological specialization by strengthening the region’s digital capacities and infrastructures.
