CiTIUS launches ‘Mentes Singulares’, a new multiplatform video podcast produced entirely at the centre
The project is born with the aim of creating a space for opinion and debate on issues related to CiTIUS’s main scientific lines, highlighting the work carried out by the people who work at the Research Center on Intelligent Technologies of the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC).
CiTIUS bids farewell to 2021 by embracing a new communication format, produced in its entirety by the centre: the Mentes Singulares video podcast will not only take on the challenge of entertaining the audience interested in the different topics that will be discussed throughout the season (artificial intelligence, microelectronic design, augmented reality, etc.), but also aims to become a prestigious loudspeaker for the scientific community. To achieve this, it will take as its starting point highly topical issues related to various lines of research currently active at CiTIUS.
With an approximate duration of between 45 and 60 minutes, each episode will bring together familiar faces from the centre with guests from the worlds of science, literature, culture and business. The episodes will be organised around topics of interest related to the capabilities and projects being developed at CiTIUS (machine learning, advanced computing, e-Health, etc.) and will give rise to debate and reflection on current issues of great social relevance.
To make the content more accessible and to offer greater versatility to users, Mentes Singulares was conceived as a multichannel product, so it can be followed both on its original video platform (Youtube) and through the main podcast platforms (Spotify, TuneIn, iVoox, Google Podcasts and Apple Podcasts).
