'Get closer to CiTIUS': Open Day for undergraduate and master's students

The Research Centre on Intelligent Technologies Research (CiTIUS) is organising a special event aimed at undergraduate and master’s students at the University of Santiago de Compostela. The event offers a unique opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the work carried out at the centre, as well as the available pathways and opportunities to take the first steps in a research career. The activity will take place at CiTIUS on Thursday, May 7, at 12:30, from 12:30 to 13:45. To attend, participants only need to complete the prior registration through the official event form, as places are limited.

The center opens its doors to undergraduate and master's students from USC in the fourth edition of 'Get closer to CiTIUS'

The day will begin with an institutional presentation by the center's management, where the main options offered by CiTIUS to university students will be explained: from its summer scholarship program and research initiation contracts. as well as other career opportunities. 

Subsequently, there will be a guided tour of the Robotics, Microelectronics, and Intangible Realities laboratories, aimed at showcasing practical examples of the research lines being developed at the center and the technological challenges they address. In the Robotics laboratory, students will be able to learn about collaborative systems and mobile platforms; in Microelectronics, equipment for the design and characterization of integrated circuits; and in Intangible Realities, a multipersonal virtual reality space with immersive technology.

The activity will take place at CiTIUS, between 12:30 PM and 1:45 PM. To participate, it is only necessary to complete the prior registration through the official event form, as spaces are limited.
