Deadline for applications: until 23:59 (CEST) on 15 July 2022.

Application submission procedure: This will be done through the electronic headquarters of the University of Santiago de Compostela, which can be accessed using any of the identification and signature mechanisms supported by the electronic headquarters of the USC (Sede electrónica USC). The documentation required for applications is: curriculum vitae (in PDF), a copy of the academic certificate and a responsible statement that the requirements are met before the deadline for applications.

The provisional list of admitted and excluded candidates will be published on the USC electronic bulletin board within 3 working days after the deadline for applications, between the 16 and 20 July.

Description of the positions:

1. Collaborating researcher.
   Functions: Development of speech synthesis and speech recognition systems, collaboration in the preparation of technical reports and support in the design of experiments and evaluation metrics.
   Qualifications required: Degree in Computer Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering.
   Institution: Instituto da Lingua Galega (ILG).

2. Collaborating researcher.
   Duties: Preparation of linguistic corpora, collaboration in the preparation of technical reports and support in the design of experiments and evaluation of results.
   Qualifications required: Degree in Galician language and literature.
   Institution: Instituto da Lingua Galega (ILG).

3. Collaborating researcher.
   Duties: Coordination and supervision of the development of oral linguistic resources, drafting of technical reports and linguistic advice and coordination in the area of speech technologies.
   Qualifications required: Doctorate in language studies.
   Institution: Instituto da Lingua Galega (ILG).

4. Collaborating researcher.
   Functions: Collaboration in the design, implementation, validation and testing of software for text generation, collaboration in the preparation of technical reports and support in the design and implementation of experiments and evaluation metrics.
   Qualifications required: Degree in Computer Engineering or in the field of ICT.

5. Collaborating researcher.
   Functions: Collaboration in the supervision and elaboration of corpora and datasets for dialogue systems, collaboration in the elaboration of technical reports and support in the design and implementation of experiments and evaluation metrics.
   Qualifications required: Degree in Linguistics, Languages, Translation or in the field of linguistic studies.

   Functions: Collaboration in the design, implementation, validation and testing of software for dialogue systems, collaboration in the elaboration of technical reports and support in the design and implementation of experiments and evaluation metrics for dialogue systems.

7. Collaborating researcher.
   Duties: Collaboration in the elaboration of the corpus and datasets for text correction and evaluation systems, collaboration in the elaboration of technical reports and support in the design and implementation of experiments and evaluation metrics.
   Qualifications required: Degree in Linguistics, Languages, Translation or in the field of Linguistic Studies.

8. Associate researcher.
   Functions: Supervision and coordination of the Machine Translation area, drafting of technical reports and supervision of the development of machine translation tools.
   Qualifications required: PhD in machine translation.

9. Senior management technician (I.2).
   Functions: Coordination and monitoring of the project activities and work plan; management, administrative and technical support and coordination and preparation of the documentary part of the project; support in the organisation of events and internal and external project communication activities; responsibilities in the coordination of the human resources associated with the project, specifically in the technical and administrative fields.
   Qualifications required: Degree in Business Administration or Economics, Engineering or Experimental Sciences or equivalent.
