Workshop: 'Gamification and Augmented Reality: transforming the training in occupational risk prevention in the composite materials sector'

The DITMEP project workshop 'Gamification and Augmented Reality: transforming the training in occupational risk prevention in the composite materials sector' will be held on 22 March at the Aixola Training Centre, in Marín (Pontevedra, Spain), from 10:00 to 13:00, organised by the Centro Tecnológico del Mar (CETMAR) and the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC).

This workshop will run both on-site and online through a Teams link. Make sure to RSVP and indicate whether you will attend in person or online at this link.

Throughout this workshop, the new learning materials created as part of the DITMEP project will be presented:

• A Moodle tool with a total of 8 units dedicated to occupational risk prevention in composite workshops, with theoretical contents and practical activities.

• An augmented reality application for smartphones, for training in signage and selection of personal protective equipment. You can download it from this link if you have an Android 11, 12 or 13 version, or here if the version is Android 9 or 10.

• 10:10: Presentation of the DITMEP Project and materials: PRL teaching units in the composites sector, Moodle, activities, augmented reality application. Lucía Fraga Lago, coordinator of the Training area of the Centro Tecnológico del Mar - CETMAR Foundation.
• 10:30: Workshop: Use of the two augmented reality tools for training in occupational risk prevention: Signposting of the workshop space and selection of personal protective equipment.
