Call open for the 2nd Edition of CLARIAH-GAL

CiTIUS is collaborating in the organization of this event, which aims to promote research in Digital Humanities and language technologies. The call for poster submissions will remain open throughout the month, with the deadline for sending abstracts on March 31.

Next 9 May 2025, the II Xeira CLARIAH-GAL will take place at the Faculty of Philology of the University of Santiago de Compostela, organized by the Galician Language Institute (ILG) and the Singular Research Center in Intelligent Technologies of USC (CiTIUS). The event aims to be a meeting space to publicize the European research infrastructures CLARIN and DARIAH, as well as to disseminate projects and connect Galician research groups working in the field of Digital Humanities and language technologies applied to research in the Humanities and Social Sciences.

CiTIUS (a center co-funded by the European Union through the Galicia Feder 2021-2027 Program) is part of the Galician node of CLARIAH-ES, the digital research infrastructure in the Humanities and Social Sciences, contributing to the development of intelligent technologies applied to language. Among the projects being carried out at the center, the most notable are NOS, an initiative for the processing of the Galician language, and ILENIA, framed within the PERTE for the New Language Economy.
