Noel Suárez Barro

I graduated in Computer Engineering from the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC) in 2022 and completed a Master's in Artificial Intelligence in 2024. Then, I began my PhD in causality and prediction in process mining using graph models, although I soon redirected my research towards applying these same models to support drug discovery.

In addition to my research work, I greatly enjoy teaching. I am part of the teaching team for the Integrated project of AI I and II, mentoring real-world projects with companies. I also collaborate with gara.bio, a protein visualization software that won a Hackathon organized by the Camelia Chair.

I am passionate about science communication, interdisciplinary collaboration, and taking on new challenges that bring research closer to society.
