Doctoral Meeting: 'Cell detection in biomedical immunohistochemical images'

Accurate computer-aided cell detection in immunohistochemistry (IHC) images of different tissues is essential for advancing digital pathology and enabling large-scale quantitative analysis. From the image analysis point of view, we are facing to a image segmentation or target detection problem. Different unsupervised segmentation and deep learning techniques will be addressed to cell detection in IHC images. Proposals, results and challenges will be addressed in the meeting.
