Doctoral Meeting: 'Distributed quantum computing integrated in heterogeneous systems'

This talk will discuss distributed quantum computing and its integration into existing heterogeneous systems. Initially, the differences between classical and quantum computing will be presented, with emphasis on their most important features such as superposition or quantum entanglement. Subsequently, the vision of a QPU (Quantum Process Unit) as a heterogeneous device will be discussed, and the challenges that this entails will be addressed. Finally, the possibility of distributed quantum computing using quantum communications will be considered.
