About the speaker

José Julio Fernández Rodríguez holds a PhD in Law, a degree in Law, Political and Social Sciences, Journalism and Audiovisual Communication. Diploma in Security and Defence Studies. Associate Professor of Constitutional Law at the University of Santiago de Compostela (accredited as Full Professor), where he is the director of the Centre for Security Studies (CESEG). Author of numerous scientific publications, including studies on the relationship between technology and fundamental rights, internet, cybersecurity and data protection.
