CiTIUS Summer Fellowships 2021

CiTIUS is launching, for the seventh consecutive year, a new call for summer fellowships, aimed at undergraduate students in degrees related to Intelligent Technologies

CiTIUS is launching the seventh edition of its summer fellowships programme, offering 14 grants aimed at undergraduate students who wish to have their first research experience in the field of Intelligent Technologies. The fellowships are intended to fund research stays at CiTIUS during the coming month of July. During their stay, beneficiaries will carry out a research project supervised by the centre’s research staff, within the lines of the CiTIUS Scientific Programmes. The aim is for students to have a first contact with research in areas such as Big Data, Computer Vision, Robotics, Sensorics, Language Technologies, High-Performance Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Nanotechnology or e-Health. In addition, during the fellowship period, they will be able to take part in the training activities carried out at CiTIUS, which include attendance at courses, lectures by research staff of international prestige, and presentations of the latest software tools in the field of IT.

The fellowships provide €750 gross, plus an additional allowance for students who are not resident in Santiago de Compostela to cover transport costs, with a maximum amount of €200 for students from outside Galicia and up to €80 for students living in other municipalities in Galicia.
