CiTIUS Summer Fellowships 2022

The CiTIUS Summer Fellowships are back! If you are studying a degree related to Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Technologies, this will be of interest to you: we are offering 14 new grants so that you can carry out your first research stay. Submit your application by next Wednesday, 25 May!

For the eighth consecutive year, CiTIUS (Centro Singular de Investigación en Tecnoloxías Intelixentes da USC – Singular Research Centre in Intelligent Technologies of the USC) is once again launching its annual call for Summer Fellowships, which in 2022 offers 14 grants for undergraduate students who wish to have their first research experience in the field of Intelligent Technologies (IT). The fellowships will fund these stays during the month of July, with the aim of enabling beneficiaries to develop a research project within the framework of the lines of the CiTIUS Scientific Programmes.

The selected group of students will thus have a first contact with research in areas such as Big Data, Computer Vision, Robotics, Sensors, Language Technologies, High Performance Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Nanotechnology or e-Health. In addition, during the fellowship period, students will be able to take part in the training activities carried out at CiTIUS, which include attendance at courses, lectures by researchers of international prestige, and presentations of the most up-to-date software tools in the field of IT.

The grants amount to €750 gross, plus an additional allowance for students who are not resident in Santiago de Compostela to cover transport costs, with a maximum amount of up to €300 for students from outside Galicia, and up to €80 for students residing in other municipalities in the region.
