CiTIUS brings to Santiago 'CoSeRa 2024': International Workshop on Computational Sensing and Imaging

The Research Centre on Intelligent Technologies of the USC will host next September the 6th International Workshop on Computational Sensing Theory and its Applications in Radar, Multimodal Sensing and Imaging (CoSeRa 2024).

On the success of its predecessors, CoSeRa 2024 aims to delve into the intricacies of computational sensing, exploring the symbiotic relationship between sensing hardware and reconstruction algorithms. Scheduled to take place in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, from September 18-20, 2024, the workshop will serve as a nexus for researchers, engineers, and professionals working on the mathematical foundations and practical applications of computational sensing and imaging.

The CoSeRa 2024 workshop invites contributions on various aspects of computational sensing theory and its applications. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Fundamentals, mathematical aspects, concepts, and algorithms of computational sensing.
  • Applications of computational sensing to radar systems, imaging radar, THz imaging, digital optics, medical diagnostics, and more.
  • System design and hardware for computational sensing, including analog to information converters, sampling strategies, and A/D-converter design.
  • Application of matrix decomposition and tensor-based techniques for sensor systems.
  • Quality evaluation methods, including estimation based on compressed sensing and the Cramer-Rao Bound (CRB).

Prospective authors are encouraged to submit full-length papers of up to five pages, including figures and references, by the submission deadline on February 16, 2024. The workshop promises an enriching experience for researchers and industry professionals alike, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange.

Important deadlines for CoSeRa 2024:

  • Full five-page paper submission: February 16, 2024
  • Notification of acceptance: April 30, 2024
  • Final camera-ready papers and author registration: May 31, 2024
