The social programme of the ECAI conference wins the 'Paraugas Award for Best Event of 2020'
The 5th Edition of the ‘Paraugas Awards’, promoted by the Galician Communication Cluster, recognises the ECAI 2020 Social Programme as the best online event of the year. This programme is a set of activities designed by CiTIUS to promote the culture, history, gastronomy and, in general, the tangible and intangible heritage of Galicia among the more than 5,000 participants in the 24th European Conference on Artificial Intelligence.

With the introduction of this new award category for Best Online Event in its 2020 edition, the 5th Paraugas Awards acknowledge the efforts of CiTIUS and Trevisani to offer the more than 5,000 registered participants the opportunity to enjoy unique Galician experiences in digital format, albeit live and in an interactive way, with the aim of making the experience as close as possible to enjoying these activities in person.
Sponsored by the Galician Communication Cluster, the Paraugas Awards recognise the high standard of the work carried out in the community in the fields of Printing and Publishing, Design, Creativity, Marketing, Digital Marketing, and the area of Communication and Events. In its 2020 edition, the awards once again recognised several successful projects through a jury of professionals with extensive experience and recognised prestige, who highlighted the most unique initiatives from among more than 250 proposals submitted.
