Committed to equality
As part of our commitment to the principles of Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI), the Centre's Equality Commission was established in 2021.
Our objectives
This commission's main objective is to ensure the principle of equality in all CiTIUS activitiy, but particularly in the following areas:
- Gender perspective in all phases of the research activity
- Recruitment and selection processes
- Career development and promotion
- Working conditions and co-responsible work-life balance
- Equality training
- Organisational culture of equality
The Commission includes staff from the Centre representing all professional categories:
- Paula López Martínez, senior researcher and co-ordinator of the Commission .
- Diego Cabello Ferrer, senior researcher.
- Natalia Seoane Iglesias, senior researcher.
- Álvaro Ordóñez Iglesias, postdoctoral researcher.
- Albina Sarymsakova, postdoctoral researcher.
- María Tenorio Miranda, manager in the Knowledge Management and Transfer Unit.
