Manuel Bendaña Gómez

I graduated in Computer Engineering from the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela (USC) in 2022. Afterwards, I completed the Master's Degree in Computer Vision, coordinated by the universities of Santiago de Compostela, A Coruña, Vigo and Porto.

Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in Information Technologies Research, funded through a Formación del Profesorado Universitario (FPU) grant, awarded by the Spanish Ministerio de Educación. My research focuses on the field of Computer Vision, particularly on multi-object tracking (MOT) as well as object detection and segmentation tasks.

Previously, I was affiliated with CiTIUS during one of its summer internships in 2021, as well as during the Bachelor's internship and the Final Degree Project, which I completed in 2022. In 2023, I was hired through a public merit-based call for junior research staff within the framework of R&D&I programs offered by USC, during which I also completed the Master's internship and the Master's Thesis.
