Pedro Gamallo Fernández

I graduated in Computer Engineering from the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC) in 2021 and in the Master in Artificial Intelligence Research of the Spanish Association of Artificial Intelligence (AEPIA) and the Menéndez Pelayo International University (UIMP) in 2022. After doing an internship for a year in the IT consultancy Coremain, developing applications to manage business processes in hospitals and health centres in Galicia, I started my link with CiTIUS in 2020 thanks to its Summer Scholarship programme and I finished my Final Degree project aimed at the applicability of new Deep Learning techniques for process mining.

In October 2025, I defended my doctoral thesis entitled “Deep Generative Models in Process Mining,” which focused on the development and application of generative networks based on autoencoders to improve the quality of event logs in the field of process mining.
