Silvia Rodríguez Alcaraz

I obtained the Computer Science and Engineering BSc in 2019 by the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC). One year later, I finished the High Performance Computing MSc, also by the USC. During my Master's studies, I had a collaboration scholarship from the Spanish Education Ministery to cooperate with the Electronic and Computation Department.

Currently, I am a PhD student at CiTIUS with a contract from the Spanish Science and Innovation Ministery (FPI). My thesis is focused in the application of High Performance Computing techniques, mainly to process 3D point clouds, exploring the distributed and cloud computing paradigms.
