Tomás Benavides Álvarez

Nowadays, after finishing my degree in Computer Engineering at USC in 2022, I am currently studying a Master in Artificial Intelligence which is taught at this university in collaboration with the universities of Vigo and A Coruña. My main interest at the moment is artificial intelligence, where I am specializing in process mining.

I became involved with CiTIUS thanks to a collaboration scholarship provided by the Ministerio de Educación y Formación Profesional, with which I have been introduced to the world of research and have completed my university degree. Currently, I am working here thanks to a public contest of merits for the recruitment of early stage research staff offered by the USC, and I plan to start my PhD thesis soon.
