'Big Data: the oil of the future' (CiTIUS Summer Course - 2013)

The summer course "Big Data & Data Science," organized by CiTIUS and led by center researchers José Ramón Ríos Viqueira and Tomás Fernández Pena, brought together numerous esteemed experts in this field in Santiago. Four days of workshops and conferences addressed multiple aspects related to Big Data, tackling both the main challenges facing the web of the future and its various applications in social and commercial contexts.
