TLIX: Network of LiDAR technologies and geospatial information
The Network of LiDAR technologies and geospatial information (TLIX) promotes the interdisciplinary cooperation between research Galician Groups, experts and businesses, by means of R&D activities.
The focus of the network is the analysis, management and country planning using tools based on the information provided by Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and LiDAR technologies (i.e., Laser Imaging Detection and Ranging) and its adaptation to current computational technologies by means of parallelization strategies.
Objectives
The objectives of the network are:
- To study the necessities of storage of the information generated by LiDAR systems.
- To identify possible applications and collaborations.
- To study the possibilities of visualizing the information in real time.
- To identify possible applications and collaborations.
