
Technology transfer manager
CiTIUS is seeking a highly motivated and experienced technology transfer manager with a strong background in university-industry collaboration, strategic engagement with the industry sector, and innovation ecosystems.
The successful candidate will join 1HealthAI, one of the European AI Factories funded by EuroHPC, focused on accelerating the application of AI to the One Health domain. The project brings together expertise across human, animal, and environmental health to develop cutting-edge AI infrastructure and solutions with real-world societal impact.

We are looking for a highly proactive and internationally oriented professional to strengthen collaboration between academia, industry, public institutions, and innovation stakeholders, helping transform cutting-edge AI into impactful real-world applications in One Health domain.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising and supporting the development of university-industry the AI factory projects, strategic partnerships, and collaborative AI-driven solutions.
- Promoting and managing collaboration between partners, researchers, companies, healthcare organisations, and public institutions.
- Identifying opportunities for technology transfer, innovation, valuation, and industrial collaboration.
- Facilitating engagement with regional, national, and European innovation ecosystems, including other AI Factories.
- Contributing to the dissemination, exploitation, results valuation and impact strategies of the project.

Desired Qualification and Skills
- Demonstrated experience in technological management of AI/HPC R+D+i projects, technology transfer and/or valuation, innovation management, or in collaborative projects between academia and industry. International experience will be positively evaluated.
- Experience engaging with companies, clusters, startups, healthcare organisations, or public institutions.
- Excellent communication, networking, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to identify collaboration opportunities and build strategic partnerships.
- Experience in European projects or international collaborative environments will be positively valued.
- Strong organisational and project coordination skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
What we Offer
- A 2.5-year full-time position with the possibility of extension.
- Competitive gross annual salary between €42,000 and €50,000.
