Nicolás Vilela Pérez

I graduated in Computer Engineering from the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela (USC) in 2023 and, subsequently, in 2024, I obtained a Master's Degree in Big Data Analysis Technologies at the same university. Since 2024 I have been working toward a PhD in Information Technology Research.

My research at CiTIUS focuses on the processing of multi and hyperspectral remote sensing images, specifically on the development of deep learning-based classification techniques. One practical application is the identification of various types of plant species and observable elements in these types of images.
