8 voices to inspire: women who build the STEM future | Girls in ICT 2025

On the occasion of the International Girls in ICT Day #GirlsInICT2025, CiTIUS presents a new podcast in which eight women share experiences and reflections about their studies, their research careers, and their connection to technology.

The conversation is moderated by Marta Núñez García, Ramón y Cajal researcher at CiTIUS, with a solid international track record in the field of medical imaging and machine learning (https://citius.gal/es/team/marta-nunez-garcia/).

🎙️ At the dialogue table: • Clara Álvarez and Noa Diz – Students of the Degree in Artificial Intelligence (USC) • Constanza Andión and Carolina Pavez – Pre-doctoral researchers at CiTIUS

👥 In the audience: • Eirena Souto, Xiana Oliveira, and Elena Couto – Also students of the Degree in Artificial Intelligence at the Escola Técnica Superior de Enxeñaría of the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela (ETSE-USC).

💬 A close, live, and unfiltered conversation aimed at motivating younger girls to pursue their STEM vocations and showing that there are also role models who speak their language, share their doubts, and have walked the same path.

📍 An initiative of CiTIUS (Universidade de Santiago de Compostela), in the framework of the International Girls in ICT Day, promoted by @ITUtelecommunication.
