Toward enriching course content with Linked Data

In this paper we present an approach for enriching educational contents modeled as Learning Fruits (LFs). LFs are web books designed to more dynamic and flexible the learning process. LFs are supposed to be lightweight containers of information that should be consumed quickly, so not all information of the course should be available on the HTML page. Therefore, the objective of our approach is enriching automatically the content of these courses with information available on the web, so the cost of development of LFs is cheaper. For this purpose, we selected the DBpedia, a Linked Data repository that feeds on Wikipedia, so we have access to a repository of structured and reliable information.
