HiPerHC2DA: High Performance, Heterogeneous and Cloud Computing for Demanding Applications
The global objective of this project is the development of techniques for the efficient use of resources provided by many multi-core architectures as well as GPU and FPGA devices, either on-premise or cloud systems, in the context of highly demanded applications, including the simulation of electronic devices, artificial intelligence-based image processing and hyperspectral and LiDAR data computing. These applications require high computation effort to be viable, so solutions based on High Performance Computing (HPC) of large volumes of data are essential. The project is organized around two main objectives:
- Efficient computing of challenging applications.
- Performance analysis and optimization in computing systems.
